InView test

My child started MCPS in 3rd grade and never took the InView test. He is now in 4th grade at our local ES and taking 4/5 math. He has done well on the MAP tests and PARCC last year. Should I ask the school to test him using InView? Will not having a GT designation determine what classes he takes in MS?

I'm surprised school didn't test him last year. There are a few summer classes at Montgomery College that require a GT label but I am sure there are exceptions. Definitely in MS no one cares about inview.
