Dumb question, but after you submit your application when do you find out your lottery number?

Sometime in February, I think? It's been a while since I did it. I just remember waiting several months before finding out the results.

Do you mean your student number? You should have that before you even enter the lottery.

I think it's actually much later, like end of March or early April.

Your number is basically your result. Meaning, the placements and your number happens at the same time. One determines the other. I'm confused as to why you would think you would get it now.

You should receive an email with a application number and confirmation number. You use the confirmation number to look up your placement when the results are released.
