| Does a bfn on 6dp5dt of two blastocysts mean that I am out? Is it too early? Anyone get bfp later than this? |
|
Was your beta scheduled that early, or is this from a home pregnancy test?
I didn't get a positive on a home pregnancy test until 8dp5dt. My first beta confirmed BFP at 16dp5dt. I'd hold out for another few days, then test again. |
| Way too early. Wait a few days. |
| Thanks! I tested on HPT. My first beta is Nov. 2nd- 14dp5dt. Holding out hope... |
| Really early OP. Wait at least 2-3 more days |
| I got a really faint positive at 10dp6dt. DC is 7 months old. |
| Wow! We are on the exact same timeline and I was just thinking the same thing! After talking to some friends, realized that it is too early so will test again maybe Thursday/Friday. My beta is 10/31. Good luck, OP!! |
| 17:04 again.. I also transferred 2 blasts! |
| Not to bring doom & gloom, but I have 2 kids. Ages 4 and 2. All from IVF. Did 5 cycles to get those 2 pregnancies. Tested all the times. Had 2 chemical pregnancies, two real BFPs and one BFN. The chemical pregnancies had a SUPER faint line on 5dp5dt (10DPO). The super faint line stayed faint until beta (9dp5dt). The genuine BFP's that resulted in my 2 kids had a faint line on 5dp5dt also, but it got darker each day. My chemcial pregnancies had beta around 20 both times, and I still got a faint line at 5dpt on a FRER pregnancy test. I even got a "PREGNANT" on a digital with the chemical pregnancies right before beta. Just want you to manage expectations. If you're using FRER, a sensitive test, you get a line at SUPER low levels of HCG. Even if it's a squint line. |
| I always have gotten positives 6 days post 5 day transfer but I would also warn against testing early due to chemical pregnancy. Of the 7 positives I have gotten that early (including a few that weren't that faint, only 3 were pregnancies that stuck (and one miscarried at 12 weeks). Better to test in a few days and save yourself heartache. But it could be a good sign. |

17:10 poster here: yes, testing early means chemical pregnancies possible. However, since I had 2, I learned that if the line stays light, you're out. So the second time it happened, I basically knew it was a chemical by the second day of testing.
PP, you had 7 times? How many chemicals? Any reason they know of why so many chemicals? |
| Too early |
Thanks all! BFN again this morning on 7dp5dt. This was a donor egg IVF- trying to have a sibling from the same donor for my daughter that was born last year . She was my 9th IVF (first using donor eggs), so I am not new to the doom and gloom; however, I got my BFP at 5dp with her. I knew I was pregnant, I felt implantation and had what I think were positive symptoms. I am not feeling so optimistic this time and other than some small cramping day after have had nothing. So bummed, I had nothing to freeze .

OP- Good luck to you!!!!! |
Wow, that is late, I think. Did you have symptoms? |
