I forgot DH's birthday yesterday!

I feel so bad. He's from a culture where birthdays are not really celebrated but I still feel bad. He doesn't make a big deal about his birthday at all. I always remind him when my birthday is coming up and make plans for whatever I want to do. What could I do today to make up for it?

It is fine. If he was all about celebrating birthdays it would be one thing, but you said he does not really care. Offer to do something on the weekend to celebrate. But it is OK. Most adults do not make big deals about thier birthdays, and if they do, they make sure thier spouse knows it us coming up.

I wouldn't worry about it unless your DH pulls some passive aggressive bullshit about missing it. And then, I would only worry that you had married a toddler.

Op here: His birthday wasn't even today! He received a happy birthday message yesterday in his email and I assumed it was his birthday. We have a 2 month old and let's just say I haven't been sleeping well! He was laughing so hard when he came home to a birthday cake lit up with 34 candlesticks and a few of our neighbors hahaha dh days all he wants for hide birthday is to buy me some sexy lingerie!
