What magazines do you read? Looking for something to stay current with fashion? Don't need anything to intellectual because I get that with work.
|
Oh, I read the title and was about to post The Economist and The New Yorker.
But for fashion I would recommend Elle magazine. |
Elle always looks the most interesting to me too.
Cosmo?
Harper's Bazaar
Bazaar
Does Harper's Bazaar cater more to the older crowd or is it to 20 somethings. Cosmo seems like it is written for 18 year olds.

I read magazines to blow off stress -- Cosmo, Elle, W, Self, Glamour, Vanity Fair, Vogue, People, Entertainment, Us, Rolling Stone, Time, Economist, New York Magazines, Washingtonian and probably some others. I took speed reading in college, so I can go through a lot of magazines very quickly.
I'm a lawyer, so all of my work reading is dry. I enjoy the contrast reading "light" mags |
no magazines for me.
New Yorker, Atlantic, NYTimes Magazine.
Economist, Preservation, Country Living. I read decorating magazines for stress reduction. My house is a mess, BTW. These magazines transport me to dreamland where houses look perfect.... No fashion magazines. I'm too old for fashion. I wear what looks good on me.
I used to read a ton, all the ones above and then some, but for some reason I enjoy them less, however my dd gets Style and I like that one.
I see several Economist readers here. I read it too. Do you get those lifestyle/fashion supplements several times a year? Mine go right into the recycling.
Just download the ZINIO app and login to your public library. They have tons of magazines for free. Then you can sample several and decide what you like. I probably read 20 magazines a month this way.
