Really scary

Nicholas Kristoff's article in today's Times (http://www.nytimes.com/2009/06/28/opinion/28kristof.html) points to evidence that chemical pollution may be damaging the world's population, both animal and human, in frightening ways -- a global deforming that may be as dangerous as global warming. I point to it not so much to start a discussion here, but to be sure that everybody is aware of it.

This IS scary. Lately, I've been wondering why water/ground pollution don't get as much play as global warming. I think the effects of environmental pollution are a bigger threat right now.
