Garden ideas for a Townhouse

Can anyone recommend some good websites or landscapers for small entry gardens? I'm not sure that I want to hire someone for such a small job but can't seem to find any good examples when I go to google images.

Behnke's I think, offers a free service where they will sketch out some suggested plants for you. I think Home Depot and/or Lowe's does something similar. Of course, they will want you to buy the plants from them, but it's somewhere to start.
