Students registered for "count day" was last week. They are done.

The physical count days haven't happened yet for any school to my Osse understanding. The lists were due last week. The counts are over the next few weeks

The match the students in the class rooms on count day to the list of students submitted last week. Charters funding is based on the students names who were submitted last week. If they have different kids in the school on count day, they do not get funded for them.

There is NO incentive to take any children off the waitlist. They will have an additional body - but no funding.

Not true. There is a way to add students after the lists are submitted but before the physical count. It is cumbersome but possible. Some schools do it, others don't.

Dream on. No incentive for schools to add students after the count freeze. If you have information to the contrary you should publish it in the Washington Post! MySchoolDC and OSSE 'dings' schools for following violating the count day freeze 'rule'. Maybe your school has juice.

I would say if you are near the top of a list (any list) you are very interested in, you should find out when their count audit day is and call 2-3 days in advance and say if they have a spot you will accept it now.

Count day for the South Dakota Campus, at LAMB, is Halloween.

Lamb won't add after count day. Voice of experience from a #2 on the waitlist from match day til the end of the school year. Very disappointed.
