What time to arrive for concert at Verizon Center?

Going to see Adele tonight! Show begins (or is scheduled to begin) at 7:30.

It's been a long time since I went to a concert - what time do you think it will *really* start? End?

She will probably come on around 9. If you have a seat already you could probably get there 8.45 if you dont want to see the opening act.

I saw Adele last week in a different city, and she didn't have an opener. Concert was scheduled for 8 and she was singing by 8:15. Over around 10.

That sounds great. I am going tonight and hope it's the same.

Check Ticketmaster.com for reviews of her prior concerts, posters will say what time she comes on. After waiting 2+ hours for madonna to come on years ago, I always check now for reviews to better time my arrival. My friend who saw her in Boston said she was on time.

I would think Adele's mgmt team would know how Metro works in DC, and how at least 1/2 of her audience is using that mode of transportation to get there.

But as someone said, Madonna made people wait a long time years ago.

Adele was incredible!! Such a beautiful and fun concert. I love how incredibly humble and personable she still is, even after so much success.

Smart, considering her audience. She knows she can't keep the WASP mommies out too late.

What does WASP mean? I looked here and don't want to guess.

Judging by the concert last night, I'd say a lot of lesbians and gays, Blacks, and Indians are pretty big in her fan base.
