What do you think?
Overpriced? Good quality? Attractive? They have a sale going on, and I need to stock up on a few business suits/outfits. Thanks. |
| I dress very conservatively and they are conservative even for me. I have a few and they are very well made and last a long time. It's worth a look, especially during the sale. |
| Very expensive and VERY boring. I also found they didn't fit me that well. I love Banana Republic suiting. |
| If you have bigger than maybe a C cup they are not going to fit you right. |
| Good quality but you really have to try them on and find one that is more fitted and streamlined. They have some styles that are more fitted, closer tailored and look much better. I could not imagine wearing Banana Republic to work. |
Partly agree. Brook's suits are made with high quality material but lacks styling. For example, pant waist sits higher and does not come in flare legs. But their no-iron shirts are worth the investment. It looks crisp all day and can be worn untucked and still looks classy. I wear mine over DKNY slacks. Banana suits can be attractive but tend to be trendy and made with cheaper material. |
| For about the same amount of money, you can try Theory, for great fabrics and more modern cuts. |
| OP it depends what you are looking for and what you like wearing. If you need a neutral suit that will last its a good bet. They also have an outlet in Leesburg. I agree with the PP about the wrinkle free shirts. They are great. |
| The quality is good, but I find them boxy and unflattering. |
|
Very unflattering. Very good for old ladies, but if you're not going for that look...
Agree with PP re. Theory. Go to Bloomies or Neiman Marcus when they are having a sale and you can do MUCH better. |

I think the quality is good, but the cuts are overly conservative and boring. I typically get my suits from Banana, J Crew, Ann Taylor or Jones New York.
Now where Brooks Brothers kicks a*s is in their french cuff button-down shirts. I have them in every color and nearly every pattern. (including sleeveless for summer.) They're pricey, but they go on sale sometimes and they're timeless and well-made. |
