anyone stayed at the ocean city hilton w. kids? is it nice?

We have stayed 2 summers in a row. Rented a penthouse. It was very nice.

The kids outdoor pool is fantastic. And there are 2 other pools (1 outdoor adult and 1 indoor). Decent room service and Starbucks in the lobby.

We enjoyed it very much. But, I will say the service was much better last year than this year. Wouldn't deter me from going back...just not as good.

I haven't stayed there, but the Virginia Beach Hilton is awesome (I've stayed there a number of times) and they were built around the same time.

We are staying there in September. If you want to see a ton of reviews, look it up on tripadvisor.com. Convinced us to give it a try.

Any tips on reservations? I tried the web site as well as other travel sites and the rooms appear to be booked all summer. Not the OP btw.

Call the hotel and see what they have to say regarding availability. I wouldn't be surprised if it is all booked. It's the nicest hotel in OC!
