Safety School Ideas

As I've said in previous threads, I'm applying to Sewanee ED. I need a list of safety schools in case that doesn't work out. I've already applied to Hampden-Sydney and New St. Andrews, so that's 2. I want safety schools that are similar to Sewanee. Small ( no more than 3000 students), strong academics, and a New England prep school feel( preppy student body and a beautiful campus) Any ideas?

GPA is 3.2 unweighted. 28 ACT. Anything in the Northeast, South, and Midwest is fine. No West Coast schools.

You might want to do some research on your own about stats. There are numerous college guides and websites. Let your own fingers do the walking.

Study for an take the SAT asap. Your GPA might be an issue. Do you have strong extra-curriculars?

Given your requirements, I am not sure what to suggest. King's in Bristol Tennessee? Transylvania University in Kentucky.

He wants a school with a New England prep school feel with a student body under 3K. I would suggest some place like Wheeling Jesuit or Loyolas but a lot of them don't have the campus feel he wants. I am not going to lie to him that his GPA might present a problem. Also, extra-currlculars might help think of places. Both colleges I suggested fit his criteria and honestly, Transylvania has a history he might find interesting.

So why don't you recommend some schools?

Why can't you reach out to your college couselor? S[he] would hopefully know you better and tailor recommendations based on your record, etc.

I think most here won't reach out because you have behaved badly in this and other forums.
