He isn't the only one; 19 other deceased veterans have so far been identified as recently registered to vote. The actual number could be far higher - in the hundreds or even thousands. The investigation is ongoing.
All the the fraudulent voter registration forms were submitted by one Acorn-like voter-registration group operating out of James Madison University's campus. The FBI and police have so far refused to name the group. http://www.msn.com/en-us/news/politics/he-fought-in-world-war-ii-he-died-in-2014-and-he-just-registered-to-vote-in-va This type of vote fraud is not new. But it's been discovered at a time when electronic-only voting is increasingly vulnerable to hacking; two states have already detected intrusions into their systems. Do you trust our current voting systems in use across the USA? |
No, but whe. I have read a report of non-citizens voting regularly.
Also, not when my friend who is from Chicago (no longer resides there), told me the study of his mom's surprise last year when she showed up to vote. And enrolled next to her is her recently deceased husband. That's fine. But there is a check mark next to his name, as they check her name off. How did her husband vote? I guess she should be surprised he came back from the dead for Election Day! |
^auticorrect. Sometimes I swear it changes after the fact. The first sentence should say, "no, not when..." |
Study = story.
Ha ha ha. I think my phone's keyboard is crazy today. I will be re-reading before I post from now on. |
Not surprised. That's why you have people like that washington st mall shooter voting. I wouldnt be surprised if there are a lot of illegal immigrants voting as well. Democrats love it. |
No problem here. No need for voter ID. These are only isolated cases. Who cares if illegals vote. |
Or use a computer. ![]() |
If Trump wins, I'll know it is a real problem. |
Your link isn't working for me, could you post a corrected one so I can see the story itself? |
This happens to me often. Damn iPhone! |
The county they did this in voted for Romney by 70%/30% |
They registered only 19 people, and were caught well in advance of the election. That suggests to me that voter fraud really isn't a big concern, because they're not getting sufficient numbers to sway an election, and there are systems in place that can catch these things. |
Exactly |
Sorry about that! The story is originally published in the Washington Post, "local" section for "Virginia;" it's the 6th story down. |
My Grandfather, a WWII vet, voted Republican until the day he died... Since then, he's voted Democrat. |
