| Hotels are paid for, but weather for our beach weekend this weekend doesn't look like it's going to hold out. Any suggestions for rainy activities around Rehoboth? We have a 3 year old. |
| you know, I'd probably just walk the beach in the rain. It won't be all that cold, and it won't be all that wet. And if it is, so what? In fact, I would do that with or without a toddler. |
| Not really, with the Funland closed, maybe walking around the boardwalk and the strip. Going to restaurants and shops. Indoor pool if your hotel has one. That's all I can think of. |
| Perhaps the library. |

How old is the toddler? Our rainy day activity was doing the Dogfish head brewery tour...not super exciting but it's something to do.
Also, if it's not pouring, I would try mini golf. |
| There's an indoor nature center in Cape Henlopen. See if a hotel with indoor pool will allow access. Movie? |
| There's a bounce house my toddlers loved. http://www.shellwebounce.com/ |
| It may have been almost an hour away, but I think one rainy beach trip we found a bowling alley. |
| Browseabout Books may have a story time. They have a large children's section w toys. |
|
Ocean City library
Gold Coast mall Indoor mini golf |
| Bounce house place for sure. The cow ice cream place (hopkinsons I think) as long as the rain isn't coming down. The cape may Lewes ferry has a playground and fun for kids stuff (again, as long as it isn't raining). |
| Thank you!! these are GREAT suggestions! |
I think your little one might be a bit bored at the Gold Coast Mall. There are very few stores. |
| They can play with their toys |

The Carousel has an Ice Skating Rink
Old Pro Golf, indoor 136th street. Movie theater 143st OC has covered bikes you can ride, I know it is about a 45 minute drive.. but if you are bored. http://www.dandydonsbikerentals.com/prices.html And this weekend is a wine festival http://ococean.com/events/wine-on-the-beach I would build a sand castle in the rain if it is not too cold. |
