Can't get my groove on when my bump is rockin'

Anonymous
Anyone else have this issue? DC sleeps all day long but come nighttime, my babe wakes up and kicks the cr@p out of me. Course, that's when DH wants to get busy. Did you ignore the nudges/kicks or did it kill your libido too? DH doesn't care if DC is doing the Macarena in there but I can't feel sexy when my abdomen looks like it's about to hatch an alien.

are you over 18?

Dude-I totally had the same experience when I was preggo with my first DC, Moonrock. I found that a few tokes of some stinkbud laced with fenugreek really helped calm him down and also offered him a spiritual experience while in the womb.

OK - ignore the trolls.

I feel you and totally understand. Only suggestion is to try and change up your schedule for a while so you're aiming for periods when DC is asleep.

SAME THING. Whenever we start my baby goes on the move. It totall turns me off. The uterus must contract and wake the baby up. It kills it for me, but I keep going for my husband's sake. Happens too when I take care of business myself, but it does not bother me then because the image of my child being poked with a penis is not running through my head.

the penis doesn't even touch your uterus woman...

gosh!

If she was under 18 there probably wouldn't be a macarena reference.

OP here. I was being serious, albeit I tried to approach it humorously. Grumpy trolls. 20:07, yes indeed! If I can get passed the abdomen rolling in contrast to the other movements, I get too get a "poking" image.

have you tried different positions?

Yes, it just feels- at the risk of sounding under 18- yuck.

I am not a troll. I have yet to hear a grown woman speak like that--that's why I asked the age of the OP-the post sounded juvenile-my mistake.

NO WAY! I had no idea. Thanks for the 411, I guess I learn something new every day and my baby won't get an accidental facial tonight. Whew!

I don't think you are a troll. My take on it is that you are really old and lack a sense of humor. I would guess that the change of life has happend to you.

nope, I am 34 but I guess we all don't find it cute to speak like a 15 year old. This reminds me of that thread about which phrases should go away. I wrote "My Bad" and your language falls into the same category. Hope you look better than you sound-and before you go into it- I am 5'5 and 110 pounds so I am not a pig who needs to get laid, which has never been a problem for me during my 3 pregnancies. Good luck.
