Montessori of cedar lane vs leport montessori fairfax

I'm more inclined towards montessori of cedar lane as leport seemed more money oriented. Any recent feedback on montessori cedar lane?

No surprise about LePort being “more money oriented”.

The Chinese government owns the LePort schools. People need to get out of there.

Cedar Lane is the better option.

I toured Cedar Lane two years in a row, in 2015 and 2916. Ultimately decided to keep my child in another program (daycare with preschool, not Montessori) but we would have used Cedar Lane otherwise.

I heard all the east coast LaPort schools are closing and they are focusing on the Bay area in CA.

LePort Fairfax is dismal. I got a weird vibe from the teachers, they're super-strict about the "work", and there's essentially no outdoor time (which makes sense given their pathetically small outdoor space/'playground' for 50+ kids).

Where did you hear that?

Sounds about right, now that the schools have been bought by the Communist Chinese Government. Beware of things to come...

I followed up with a current LaPort mom yesterday who told me that there has been a split and the ones here have formed a loose affiliation called LaPortNoVA or something like that.
