Would Magic Ground in Columbia Heights be ok for a 5 year old's birthday party?
I'm just getting around to planning this party and most of DC's friends don't have cars so I'd like to avoid inconveniencing people with trying to figure out how to get to Virginia. |
I think it's great for a 5 year old's party! And going out of DC or away from the metro line is very hard for families in DC without cars, so I think you're on the right track. |
| MG is pretty fun, my 6 and 4yo both enjoy it a lot and keeps asking about it. It's a bit out of our way so we've only been there a couple times. I think it would be fine. |
| We did that this year. DD was in kindergarten. Everyone had a blast! |
| do you think this would work for a 3 yo party? |
NP wondering this as well! Have others found the facility to be pretty clean? Do they have a party room for them to eat and how large is it? I plan on going this weekend to check the place out. . |

kids will love it but its easy to "lose kids" in there and you will also have to keep random kids from trying to eat your food and cake.
My DD loves it but I hate they have a toy hair brush in there cause ALL the kids use it and I just think lice.. |
We had DD's 6th birthday there. It's got a couple of party rooms for food. I think we had like 15 kids and they all fit no problem. It was pretty clean at the time, though keep in mind that this was a year and a half ago. We have been there since and I've found that the food has improved in quality. Would definitely have a 3yo party there. |
