Lots of prior threads about River School. Generally very positive.
Some have complained though re: - school doesn't have enough play/outdoor space - not as good an environment for really active kids, esp. boys - management is inflexible - school tries to find social/emotional problems with kids in order to keep its school psychologists well-paid The list could probably go on, but the list of positives is surely much longer. OP, not snarky, just wondering why you want to go to a school that where you would have to apply out in two years? |
Not the OP but River has fantastic outplacement for its 3rd graders from what I've seen. |
Not disputing that, just seems like a hassle to have to apply to a new school again in such a short period of time. |
