This is what happens when you wait too long to find a husband. She was a late 30s girl boss and had to settle for some shmuck who looked half-decent on paper (stable career, nice, dorky). She obviously never actually loved her husband.

I really don’t get women who settle for men who will obviously never leave their wives for them. She’s smart, attractive, could have built a life with anyone else but settled for side piece. Does she just really think one day he’ll leave her for me? In the long run this has probably been the best thing to happen to her actually now she can see who he truly is and that she has been pining after a mirage. Feel sorry for the spouses and the kids but she could really grow from this.

I think you're overvaluing her worth. She's just a middle aged lifelong jersey-chaser. For whatever reason she was unable to bag a rich athlete in her prime, so being the long-term side piece of $15M/year coach Mike Vrabel was the best alternative. Vrabel is on-record "joking" about being in a sexless long marriage. Just like I'm sure Bezos was in a long-term sexless marriage when Sanchez targeted him.
