Yoirw probably Anglo white though, right? Would be curious how the Cuban maga types or similar in Miami liked it. I think it was less about any political message and more about the fact that most Anglo white MAGAs don’t really like Latin fusion type music. |
Also from the same people who would never watch the NFL and champion such violence and toxic masculinity. Funny how they are now suddenly fine with that and couldn’t wait to tune into watch a half-time show from a singer they had never heard of in a language they don’t speak. And declare it the best show ever. I doubt the posters here even watched it at all. |
Yeah, I agree. The show had senior citizens and little kids in it...and a real live wedding. It was wholesome by the standards of some Superbowl halftime shows. All these complaints are just people who want to claim that no one speaks Spanish and no one knows who Bad Bunny is. He's literally one of the top selling artists now. |

The people posting are not the people who listen to him. Completely different audience. |

Confusing? You may want to get checked for Alzheimers or something. BB absolutely nailed it. I don't speak Spanish, but totally appreciated his performance. As someone who has spent lots of time in another Spanish-speaking Caribbean country (and in Washington Heights in NYC) he made me want to get on the plane and off the resort! |
This just seems like making up a guy to get mad at (lots of liberals football, even more watch the Super Bowl, every year), but even if you're right, what you're proposing is that the NFL successfully got a bunch of people to tune in who wouldn't normally? You're saying the show as a huge success? |
You only want to be at the resort? |
|
I wanted to love it but didn't. But that's not unique to BB - true of basically every halftime show for the last 5-10 years. I'm not in touch with everything to understand the symbolism etc.
Personally I was underwhelmed by Lady Gaga as well. Her song selection felt low energy. |
If they didn’t actually watch it how would it be a success? |
She did her most recent hit with Bruno Mars. It was an olive branch to the MAGA screaming--how dare the SuperBowl have music in spanish (even though it has many times.) |
Keep telling yourself that, Donald. |
People did. That part is obviously wrong if you look at the ratings. |
