38 weeks... feeling ill overall... labor imminent?

Were I not 38 weeks pregnant, I would think I have a stomach bug or flu. For the past 48 hours, I've had a mild stomachache, diarrhea, headache and little appetite.
However, I've read that intestinal issues can sometimes occur days before labor (the body's way of sort of cleaning itself out).

Can anyone relate?
I'll mention this at my next dr. appointment in 2 days; I'm curious if I'm actually sick, or this sounds like pre-labor symptoms.

I felt like this one night while 39 weeks pregnant and thought that I might be in labor, but the baby didn't come until 8 days later. Luckily the symptoms didn't last long (just one day), so I'm assuming it was just a bug, and then I felt normal--at least normal for late in pregnancy.

*sigh*, unfortunately there is no way to tell. I'm 38w4d so I'm in the same boat... analyzing everything. With #1 my water broke at 38w5d so I'm on heightened alert for every possible sign. I'll keep my fingers crossed for you!

I'm 38w5d and had similar symptoms about a week ago. Turned out to be the Indian buffet I'd gorged myself on. Good luck!

OP here: well, shoot, I feel well again. (lol)

I guess I was experiencing a stomach bug.

I'm almost 39 weeks now, feeling well and according to today's exam, not progressing. When will this baby come out??
