Please recommend your QUIET front loading laundry machines and pedastals!

Ours are on the fritz. Laundry is upstairs right next to a child's bedroom. #1 criteria for machines is quiet/low vibration. This is even more important than cleaning the clothes! (Kidding, sort of.)
The sales people all seem to be directing us to LG or Samsung. Are their others we should consider? And yes, I did look at online reviews but it seems like ALL machines have mixed reviews. TIA. |

| I "inherited" Samsung machines when we bought this house but they are upstairs right next to my 20 month olds room and we routinely do Laundry at night when she is getting ready for bed and they are very quiet, never had an issue with sound. |
