If you got lucky with an IUI, what were your post wash numbers?
I thought ours were good (according to our RE) but after reading more online, I don't think they were great. We had just under 9m motile after the wash. |

I don't remember, but they were bad.
The nurse who had me sign off said they were not as high as they like to see for an IUI, but were willing to move forward if I wanted to. She was surprised my DH's SA had been normal given the numbers. But it worked. |
| I don't remember, but they were good. All 3 IUIs failed. |
| We did many iuis and were successful 3 times. There was incredible range to numbers from 8 million to over 50. All 3 successes were among the highest, over 25 mil. |
| All of our post-wash counts were around 100 million but only the 3rd one was successful. My husband really liked hearing all of his numbers after the procedure! He was clearly not the issue and they couldn't find anything wrong with me so we were unexplained. I came home from the 3rd one and told my husband that I knew that was going to be the one. I am now 9 weeks along and cautiously optimistic. |
Wow! What was it pre-wash?!? |

My DH had wonderful sperm. His number were almost always over 60 mil. One time it was even 89 mil. The doctor always complimented him and he loved it.
We did 6 IUIs and none worked. Try to keep in mind, it only takes ONE sperm to get the job done. I suspect I had endometriosis which is what kept the IUIs from working, since clearly it was not on my DH's end. |
