| A friend and I are planning a trip to Europe this January. Is there a secret to finding inexpensive nonstop flights? |
|
Google flights.
I've found good deals on Norwegian air. If you go to their site they have an easy calendar search where you can find discounts |
|
Do you want cheap, or safe?
Air India EMirates Both often charge less |
| Where in Europe are you planning to go? |
|
Thank you!
Looking for a flight to Madrid, out of NY. |
| I've been surfing for tickets for next summer, Aeroflot and Turkish Air have the best prices but I have eliminated them in my search (safety concerns/aging planes/customer ratings.) AerLingus and IcelandAir have good prices, United has good connection times. |
| No Air India or Aeroflot if you want to travel without headaches. |
| I often travel to Europe in January. Just check out Google Flights and Skyscanner. Depending on your tolerance about airlines, you could find anything from $500 rt pp to $800+rt pp. I keep seeing super cheap flights via Ukraine, for example. It is your call if you want to use that airline/route. I think my last two trips at that time were on SAS and Air Canada. |
| Monitor a site like this http://www.secretflying.com/ every day. January is a great time to find cheap fares to Europe. |
I would consider Turkish Air. I flew them to Istanbul last year and it was great! Europe flights connect via Istanbul, so it does make for long flying times.
