Crowded Buses

Anyone's kid coming home complaining that the buses are so crowded that kids have to stand in the aisle and sit four to a row?

Beverly Farms parent - no problem at our end. My kids and all of their friends have found the bus situation very comfortable. Looks like most routes have brand new buses too - lucky us!

The magnet buses from Eastern are super crowded. They say they are looking into it, but the buses have kids from TPMS, Eastern and Blair across county with way too many kids. I hope they figure it out.

This is problem with magnet buses every year!
What happens that eventually some people start to carpool in the morning. Then starting next week, activities will kick in, and busses on the way back will be fine.

Yes, got the same input from my child who is in HS in a NEC school. Extremely crowded bus situation. I hope this issue can improve.

No, we need to vote for term limits. Email the County Council and say it is unacceptable to run a school system this way!

Thank god those magnet programs increase our school's test scores so we can get more funds.

Contact the school and let them know. Make sure you have the bus number and route Indo si the can figure out which bus. You can get them to add and extra bus or shift routes, but it takes time.

Yes, so worth the millions spent so a select few kids get picked lottery style - fun and fair for everyone!!

That's how it was when I was a kid in middle school. The aisle was completely packed.

We have kids standing on buses going to our local elementary school.
