I think this one is her best:
"Hi Dad, I probably won't see your msg back until after school but ...... I know you like planning ahead and was wondering if I could sleep over Friday night and then we could do all our Saturday-ings. It's because Mom is going camping Friday/Saturday with her friends and invited me and I declined LMAO but she says I can't be home alone overnight. I'm staying with Yuki Saturday night." DD HAAAAAAAATES camping, lakes, and hanging out with her mother while she gets drunk/stoned with friends, so I laughed hysterically that she LMAO at her mother inviting her camping. Also, I am beyond pleased that after 13 years of telling her I need to plan ahead she's finally absorbed this and acted on it. |
