Endocrinologist in Rockville/Bethesda area

Hello,
I know this has been asked previously for the DC area. TTC, 42 years and found have an inactive thyroid. RE has recommended to see an endocrinologist. Any good recommendations in the Rockville/Bethesda area? The last time I had taken synthroid on my PCP recommendation, my TSH levels went higher! So want to see an endocrinologist who is good.

Rockville Internal Medicine has 2 endos and there are several in a group off of Montrose. You can call them and ask if they have someone in the group that specializes in your issue.

Dr. Shabina Ahmed in Bethesda is great, but it takes a while to get a new patient appointment. I saw Dr. Shetty in the Montrose group but was not impressed. It was easy getting an appointment though. I have heard Dr. Linda Liu in that same practice recommended on this board.

Any other recommendations? I want to get on this quick, since we are TTC.

I recommend Dr. Linda Liu. She helped guide me through a successful IVF and pregnancy.
