I HATE shopping for something specific but maybe there is someone out there who enjoys this kind of thing.
I am looking for 3 identical, decorative storage bins to go under a sofa table in my (tiny) living room to be for shoes and backpacks. We currently have two mismatched bins there -- one is just plain plastic rubbermaid and the other is some fabric covered thing. They are too small to be of much use. So I'm looking for a rectangular storage bin or basket that maximizes space under there and so I can fit three side by side. Not something plastic and no lid needed. Dimensions: app. 17" long, up to 13 " wide (maximum), and at least 9" tall but 12" would be better. I found this at the Container store, and it is just about the right size. But I'm looking for something a bit more decorative and with more rigid sides. http://www.containerstore.com/s/storage/bins-baskets/navy-ivory-rugby-stripe-bins/12d?productId=10037636 Any ideas? |

I was on the Ikea site anyway there are these. You've probably checked out Ikea, though.

Everything at Ikea seems to be too small.
I love hanging backpacks up, but we do not have the wall space. My house is really weird. Lots of windows and doors everywhere and very little wall space. |

If you can go with some type of basket, you might check out Hobby Lobby. They have a ton in different sizes.

Then, there is Bed Bath and Beyond. They have lots of bins that aren’t baskets...

| Pottery Barn Savannah basket (I think that's the one, it's a Seagrass basket. |
| Go to AC Moore or Michaels and get some wicker baskets in a natural or stained wood shade for under $10. |
| Word Market and Homegoods have lots of basket/ bin type containers. |
