Lands End canvas tote, maybe design you own with a monogram. Not "fashionable" but they are classic and will hold up.

NP here. I like those in general but don't like them for teaching since they don't have any compartments.

I got a really sturdy bag at the Kate Spad outlet. It has held up great for years.

OP here. Thanks for the tip . I did see some goodlooking ones, but I wasn't sure they'd hold up with the weight of books and papers. Good to know for next time!

I went with the Lands End one.
