Listening therapy-did it work?

| Has anyone tried one of the various listening therapies with you child? Did it have any benefits? Which one do you recommend? Thanks! |

| Did it and say the results were because we wanted to see results not because they were real results. We had a chance to do it for free would not spend money on it. |

| Our OT offered the CDs to us for free and we said no. With time Dc's auditory sensitivities (and language, and comprehension) improved anyway. |

| DS did have responses to the difference CDs but I can't honestly say it made a difference. We did it because the OT's office only charged us $15/mo to borrow the CDs. I have to save that DS's response to the first 'orienting' CD was amazing. It calmed him down immediately. |

| We used TLP and it helped significantly. It doesn't last though and you need to repeat. |
