Were your earliest pregnancy symptoms different from your normal monthly pms symptoms??

The 2 week wait is hard! Just wondering if people who got pregnant noticed different symptoms early on from their usual pre-period symptoms.

Yes, because I don't get PMS.

I did not notice anything different. I don't typically get much PMS (no sore breasts, etc) and didn't have anything different the month I was pregnant. I didn't really feel anything at all until 6 weeks when some nausea kicked in, and maybe slight breast tenderness.

Yes. I never have pms. When I'm pregnant, I get a sore left nipple and my heart beats harder if that makes sense (if I'm lying down I can feel my heartbeat).

I got this weird pully feeling in my stomach.

Sore breasts, which I never had waiting for my period. Extreme amounts of CM, which was unusual for me as well.

The first time around my only symptom was that PMS didn't start -- mostly, I didn't get any of the usual cramping in the days leading up to when my period was due.

The second time around I had just gotten my period back post-breastfeeding for 15 months and I'd been getting slightly nauseous in the late afternoons (almost like morning sickness; relieved by eating), which my OB said was probably hormone withdrawal from the end of pregnancy/breastfeeding. Then, the nausea just suddenly stopped one day and I actually joked to my husband that maybe that was because I was pregnant so the hormones were back. And then I was. SO weird.

I had fever symptoms than with PMS, i.e. the lack of symptoms was the earliest symptom

When baby 2 was conceived, I was a day or two late. But not sure if missed period or just a late period. We went on a trip. I had THE WORST cramps/sweating of my life. DH had a conference to attend and I stayed in the hotel with my DD. Dying. I put her in front of the tv "Watch all you want, honey! Yay!!" Dying/sweating in the bathroom.

The body aches and cramps lasted a few more hours. Some ginger tea at dinner and I was 100% fine.

Took a test when we got home. Yep pregnant.

(And I don't remember the details but I remember food poisoning/flu was pretty impossible. DH and DD and some friends would have had similar bc we ate the same things, were in the same close quarters, and they never "caught it.")

The whole time I kept thinking it was terrible pms cramps. It felt similar, but more intense than I've ever had. And that's saying something. There was a cramp day in high school where I was dying sooo badly and wanted to go home. But it was picture day for my sport. I stayed and the photo guy didn't show. I wanted to strangle him.

I'm this poster and I just got a positive test and didn't have any of those symptoms that I mentioned above. Just a lot of wetness and cm and period is MIA.
