Seattle - better in fall, spring or summer?

Plan to go to Seattle this year. We can go Columbus Day, Easter break or late June or July. Want to hike and fish.

Summer. It will be rainy and cold in October and March.

The later in July, the better.

the best time is really august/september.

This exactly.

definitely summer, especially if you want to hike. Are you just sticking to Seattle or hitting Olympic too?

I love Seattle in the fall, but I also love cool, drizzly weather so I'm probably in the minority. Unless most of the west coast, Seattle actually has a very pretty fall. It's the perfect time to book a ghost tour and have lots and lots of amazing coffee.

We've only been there in September and October and have had lovely weather both times. Maybe we just lucked out, but we didn't get any rain and had really nice fall weather.

We lived in Seattle for several years. July can be iffy - we moved there in mid-July and it was 50 degrees and raining!

August and September - guaranteed great weather.

October - usually nice early in the month. The rain starts mid to late October.

Seattle is spectacular when it is sunny and warm. You'll love it.

We just went in July, and it was great. Low 70s, no humidity. A little chilly at night. You'll get rained on the rest of the year - go in summer.
