Music/Dance Class for 6 y.o. HFA/ADHD boy

Anonymous
Our public kindergarten class apparently used "Go Noodle" and "Just Dance" segments on a big LCD screen in the classroom when it was too cold/wet to go out this winter (due to gym space issues etc). My son fell in love with the dancing. He is not very coordinated due to low tone/dyspraxia, but the dancing really seems to allow him some much needed relief from his significant anxiety.

Does anyone have any suggestions for any music/dance classes for this age group in NW DC or Southern Maryland (Rockville/Potomac or south)?

My low tone kid loves dancing too. His ADHD and anxiety really interfere with classes, but he took a week long camp at Imagination Stage this summer. He had a difficult time participating but the staff really went over and above to help him. It wasn't a dance class, but they really do inclusion well.

My similar son loves Go Noodle too. We haven't found a group dance class but we are now doing the Go Noodle dances at home during family silly time. I find myself humming Peanut Butter in a Cup at work sometimes.

You can get a free account or just watch the songs on YouTube. We also like the breathing activities for anxiety.

That is good to know about Imagination Stage- we were considering drama as Ana cavity hoping it would have some movement.
