Help for B-day gift for a daughter who wants to make and record music

Maybe someone has advice here. My daughter (turning 8) is writing music, and she wants a microphone and a sound machine where she can record her songs. She has found a few apps on the kindle (how she did this amazes me), but any ideas?
I don't even know search words to type into Amazon. Thanks in advance for any advice. Price point would be under 100. |
