Any recommendations? My son is pretty rough on his shirts so trying to figure out how best I can keep shirts somewhat clean, bright and white this year. Thanks
Oxyclean
I have a trashcan in the laundry room that I fill each Sunday PM with water and oxyclean. When my son comes home, his shirt goes in the trashcan so that it soaks until it gets washed. I empty and rinse the trashcan on Saturday when I do the laundry. His white soccer uniforms (whose idea was that!) also go in, so if/when the water starts looking too dirty mid-week, I'll dump and refill it.
Oxyclean and Tide Pods.
Shirts go in washer on Fri. night to soak in hot water and Oxyclean. Run the wash cycle on Sat . morning.
Have you not heard of bleach?
Agree about Oxiclean and soaking. I also use Dawn to remove grease and oil from ring around the collar.
The manufacturer of our uniforms also recommends Oxyclean.
For kids with sensitive skin, I recommend Baby Oxiclean. It's hard to find (at Bed Bath and Beyond, Buy Buy Baby, and Toys R Us), but it does not have the fragrance and chemicals that can cause reactions that the regular Oxiclean contains.
i Together? |
Agree with soaking in oxyclean.
Yes, wash with warm water. Works beautifully. |
