Ivanka Trump and Wendi Deng Murdoch went sightseeing in Dubrovnik, Croatia, according to an Instagram post uploaded to the account of the GOP presidential nominee's daughter.

Donald Trump's daughter has previously shared a photo of Murdoch, calling her a "remarkable woman" and "one of those friends that inspires you to work hard, be better and laugh louder."

Their friendship comes to light at a time when her father's ties to the Kremlin have drawn a few raised eyebrows.

Actually Ivanka and Wendi have been friends for years; that Wendi introduced Ivanka and her husband.

It's getting extra scrutiny as Wendi and Putin's relationship gets more public.

I'm not sure it's fair to characterize Murdoch as "Putin's girlfriend". She has been the girlfriend and wife of many men (that phrase is a bit awkward) including Rupert Murdoch and Tony Blair. Any relationship with Putin is quite recent.

I'd just say, at that level, it's a small world.
