| My just-turned- three year old will be starting pk3 next week. We bought her a bentgo kids box for lunches, but she is still having trouble opening and closing it after a few weeks of practice. I don't want it to be an issue at school or with her teacher. Are there any suggestions for easier to open/close containers? |
| Take her to Target and let her test out which kind she can do herself. |
| We have loved using a Yumbox. |
| These are pretty easy - but all depends on your kid. https://www.amazon.com/Container-Removable-Divider-HPL823C-3-6-cups/dp/B000SIPNME |
| Easy lunchboxes. |
| My 3 yo has a Bentgo and finds it very easy to open and close. I'm saying this because it was a challenge at first when the insert wasn't seated correctly. If you're sure it's in place then maybe you have one that is defective? |

LUNCHBOTS!
And honestly, what I did last year when I discovered that my kid could not open the bento box (not lunchbots, a different brand), I just used plastic bags. It looked less nice, but I thought it was more important that my kid got a lunch he could open and eat. |

My DD is just under 2, I don't think she can open these herself, but they seem pretty easy. I've seen them at Target too. |
| Lunchblox are much more difficult to open than Bentgos. The Lock and locks can be hard to line up and are a hard snap to close. |

Ours are terrible and my kids NEED to eat so this isn't an option for everyone. |
