Paul Manafort's lucrative Russian connections

$12.7 million good reasons that Donald Trump has been kissing Putin's behind since Manafort signed on. I'm trying to imagine the uproar if a similar thing happened with the Clinton campaign.

Take yours off PP. Donald claims to be running against the machine, but he IS the machine.

Looks like Hillary finally met her match.

Maybe. But we already know who Putin is voting for. Man like that wants results, and he won't get them from Clinton.

How do you know what Hillary's promised him?

Obviously it wasn't as much as what Trump promised, or we'd all be reading the RNC's emails, not the DNC's.

The Russians have their man inside the Trump campaign, explaining foreign policy to a complete novice.

The world has their pawn with Hillary. Everyone knows she's for sale.

Corey what'shisname retweeted the story. Bitter much?

So is that what's behind Trump's statements about how we should accept Russia's annexation of the Crimea and end sanctions with Russia? Is a billionaire really for sale for a payment of $10-$15 mil to a friend? There goes the idea that billionaires are above special interests. At least this one.

Trump must be harder up than we think, or at least looking to expand into Russian real estate and golf after the election.

Even in light of actual evidence, the denial is strong.

Why don't you move to Russia, PP, if you think America is so corrupt with Democrats? It's a bastion of democracy and legality over there.

I just hope we get something nice in return if we decide to recognize the annexation of Ukraine. I can assure you that if President Clinton were to strike some sort of grand bargain including some chits that I outline below, the current crop of Trumpites would bellow and howl to no end, ignoring the fact that their man in 2016 wouldn't have gotten anywhere near the deal Clinton would get.

Some potential chits:
(1) Getting Putin to shut up about our ABM efforts in Poland/Czechia, those are more about preventing Iran or other rogue actors from launching a nuke in Europe's general direction
(2) Taking concrete verifiable steps towards leaving notable NATO members Estonia/Latvia alone
(3) Agreeing to actually bomb ISIS instead of the anti-Assad rebels, or to let al-Assad retire comfortably to the Crimea as opposed to a messy war crimes trial
(4) A withdrawal from Georgia/Ukraine/Transnistria/etc.
(5) agreeing to recognize Kosovo's independence (Putin can lean on Serbia)
(6) Putin's intervention on the Macedonia naming dispute (that might not be worth anything) ...

there's any number of bargaining chips we can ask for here. But Trump? He's just saying we need to make nice with Russia -- a reset button if you will.
