If 4-5 are doing equally well tomorrow morning then I think they will switch you to a day 5.
Also, if you WANT to wait until day 5 (and are willing to take the risk of having all/most die by day 5) then they will certainly wait. It's your call and they will honor that. It might be more difficult to communicate your wishes given the fact that your doctor/nurse are on vacation but you should talk with the nurse who calls in the morning.
We have 3 year old twins and just did a fresh cycle. We were adament about wanting to do a single, day 5 blastocyst transfer and our primary RE was in agreement with this. We talked extensively about the reality that pushing for a day 5 might mean having nothing to transfer. As it happened, we had 6 embryos to begin with. By day 3, 5 embryos were still going strong and our RE said that we would have qualified for a day 5 regardless just based on having 5 strong ones at day 3. By day 5 all the embryos had started dying off/looking crummy. None were blastocysts. By day 6, one made it to blast. The rest were dead and/or dying. We transferred the one and I'm now 10 weeks pregnant. (miraculously!). So, in my experience there is true natural attrition between days 3 and 5/6.
Good luck with your cycle!!
