Things to do in LA with kids

Going to LA for four days. We have 2 and 4 year old DD's. Looking for some ideas for things to do during the week.

I tagged along on one of my husband's work trips with our toddler last year and we had a blast. The zoo at Griffith Park was great and she loved the Santa Monica Pier. We stayed in the Marina del rey area and were walking distance to Venice and Santa Monica which was great. Lots of parks, beach etc. Have fun!

On the westside: Venice Beach, Santa Monica Pier, outdoor promenade of shops in Santa Monica
