Help getting through punch out

Finishing a major project on home. It looks like we aren't going to reach agreement on punch list without some help. List includes a re-do of work not done consiatent with the contract the first time out. So not just clean up. Has anyone worked with a mediator or owners representative to help resolve disagreements? Really don't want to resort to an attorney because trying to get through this as amicably as possible. But need suggestions on how to get this finished.

Can you explain some of the issues you are struggling with? Is this new construction or a renovation? Where is it located at?
