Charlottesville hotel recommendation

DH and I would like to stay in Charlottesville for a 1 night anniversary trip. We'd like to be near a nice winery, maybe walk around shops, etc. We have never been. Any suggestions would be good. Thanks. PS This is an adult only trip, kids will be at home.

| The Omni on the downtown mall. Keswick inn for a little further out and great brunch. |

| If you want quick access (5-10minutes) to wineries you're looking at B&Bs. PPs have good recommendations with Omni, Clifton Inn, and Boars Head. Wineries will be close to these (many within 20 minutes) but walking for shops and restaurants is the Omni off of the pedestrian downtown mall. |
