Same sex Docs?

I'm looking for a new PCP and it got me thinking, when I have a choice, all my doctors are female. My parents separated when I was a teenager and I lived with my father. It was just easier to go to a woman because I didnt have one to talk to about women's issues at home. Going on 20 years later, whenever anyone recommends a doctor to me, my reaction is always *A man! Ew gross no!!!* I can't be the only one?

I agree. I like female docs.

I prefer female OB/Gyns, but I'm okay with a male GP.

Me too, exactly. Although, I am convinced that male OBs are gentler. Regardless I only want women working on my piping.
