| All I know is that the principal of Goddard is leaving. I don't have any other details, since my daughter will not begin there until the upcoming school year. If anyone has anymore details, please chime in, because I am curious as to what is going on. |

| Principal Burton has accepted a position closer to home. Ms. Teresa Bey, formerly Assistant Principal at New Carrollton ES will be the new principal at HES. |

| So I see the new principal at RGM is Deatrice Womack (I believe she was the vice principal before). My child will be a new student at RGM this year, and was wondering how current parents feel about this change and the new principal? |

I am a parent who has been here for a few years now. Ms. Womack was the Assistant Principal for years. She knows the history and culture of the school, has a strong educational background and there are alot of us who are excited about her assuming this role. Hopefully, you had a chance to attend the meet and greet on Thursday past to meet the staff. Check out the RGMS PTSA site to ensure that you are connected.
