Daycare violations information

I am trying to find information about daycares in DC and Virginia. I know there are web sites that detail information about specific centers and violations that have been recorded. Does anyone have these links for DC and Virginia?

If you're considering Infant Toddler Care, please note that their violations don't appear on the DSS website. They have their own licensing authority but their violations aren't posted. I don't know why.

If you're considering Infant Toddler Care, please note that their violations don't appear on the DSS website. They have their own licensing authority but their violations aren't posted. I don't know why.

If you go with Infant Toddler, they assign a staff person (I forget the title . . .) that visits the providers on at least a monthly basis. I can only speak for our case, but we have been able to talk with that person about the types of violations our provider has had. They notify us every time they visit and are always available to chat with parents.

You should call the main DOH line and they'll get you to somebody in child care licensing.
