Is Parents Place of Maryland a scam?

I've called them multiple times over three months and they ask me to leave a message but no one has ever called me back. I thought they got money from the state to provide assistance to parents. I recently moved here from a different state and in that state the agency that gets funding from the state calls back within 24 hours and they take their job very seriously.

I'm wondering if others have had this same experience?

We tried to talk with them for help and got connected to a woman 4 years ago who was easier to reach via email than phone. In the end she was not able to help us deal with serious IEP issues and we hired Michelle Davis which was way more helpful for son.

I think Parents place is not staffed well and over stretched compared with the needs of families seeking support. You should probably hire an educational consultant.

Same experience. Someone took our info but no call back. We ended up hiring an ed consultant.
