Ideas for Entertaining a 22 month old on a very long flight

I have the usual books, coloring books, crayons, stickers, matchbox cars, weebles, and handheld figures of cartoon characters. I am looking for other ideas. It won't be DD's first flight, but it will be her first one where she is old enough not to be content just playing with me.

Portable DVD player? To me it's the godsend for travel.

I have to echo the DVD suggestion. I recently flew cross-country w/ my 22-month old. I had been skeptical about the DVD thing, but I was concerned that the books and small toys were no longer going to be enough to fill the entire trip. (He has flown many many times.) I was shocked at how well this went. I bought a DVD player on Amazon along with a set of kiddie earphones (smaller for children). I had a set of earphones too, and watched with him. He absolutely loved it. We still read books and played with some of the toys (and there was also a nap) - but that DVD player was good for a solid hour of entertainment. (I got some of the PBS Sprout DVDs - so Bob the Builder, Make Way for Noddy, etc.)
