Preserving Green Space in Arlington

Hi, All,

I wasn't quite sure which forum to put this in, but this one seems ok.

I wanted to get your support for keeping Arlington as green as possible. We want to have out space where we can exercise, run our kids around, etc. However, one of Arlington's most crowded areas is having one of its remaining parks threatened. This is Rhodeside Green Park.

The Arlington Vounty board wants to turn it into a "temporary" fire station. Would you help preserve this space by signing this petition? This concept of a temporary fire station that takes away this space when there are so many other spaces already covered with concrete is heartbreaking. The park has mature trees, is a gathering place for the DC Bocce club, and countless children.
