6 yr old: ear tube fell out; kid talking loud. SeeENT?

I'm posting here b/c I suspect I"ll get more BTDT responses.

My son had one ear tube fall out over the spring and the second fell out about a month ago. He does not complain of pain, but he has been talking loud and not listening as well. Could be summer, but could be ears.

Should I go see the ENT and get hearing check or regular pediatrician...or should I wait for another symptom like pain?

Audiologist for hearing check is where I would go. The ped will likely just refer you out.

Are you supposed to have a one-year followup with the ENT and audiologist? For my DS, we did. Call and schedule one.

Yes, go to an ENT who has an audiologist.
