Recommend your furniture removal company

Getting new sofa and the they will not remove and dispose of old one. Would donate, but it is completely used and would need A LOT of work to repair and use if even possible.

Please share furniture removal and disposal service company names-the good, the bad and the ugly. What are wait times like or can you schedule a specific time. We cannot leave anything in front of our home for them because neighbors wiill kill us. (Another family did that and HOA was furious).

I've used Reliable Hauling three times over the last nine years to remove items before moving out of an apartment, townhouse, and just this June when we moved from our SFH. I highly recommend: http://www.reliablehauling.com

OP here. They don't take sofas in this condition. It is pretty bad.

We've been happy with this group. Not sure if Rockville is convenient to your location.

Craig's List, Free Cycle, Some bulk pick ups will take it for free.

Who would take a currently not operatining upright freezer (garage) that might work but we have no idea how to make it work. Would just like to move it out for free (easy move).

For the sofa - go online to MoCoo trash and recycling and request a "bulk" pick up. You'll get a confirmation email and the date they'll pick up (it will be a normal pick up day).

For the fridge freezer you may have to pay someone to take this.

Just hire a guy with a truck. Get a referral from neighbours coworkers friends.

Nope. don't know anyone with trucks and dolleys. and dump fees are prohibitive. Someone out there must want an old freezer - at least for scrap.

You'd be surprised what people will take when you post it for free on those local "yard sale" groups on Facebook. Worth a try first.
